Kingsman: The Golden Circle Reboots A Formulaic Plot But Still Entertains


Kingsman: The Golden Circle, a 2017 spy-fi written and directed by Matthew Vaughn, starring Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, and Taron Egerton, is the highly anticipated sequel to the 2014 blockbuster Kingsman: The Secret Service.

In this action-packed reboot, Poppy Adams (Moore) is a nefarious crime boss with a penchant for laced narcotics and cannibalistic burgers. From the confines of the Cambodian jungle, she executes a diabolical scheme for global domination a year after Richmond Valentine (Samuel L. Jackson) failed to do so in the original.   

When an enemy attack nearly annihilates the Kingsman tailors, Eggsy (Egerton) and his comrades join forces with a Kentucky-based agency to thwart Poppy's plans.
